« Home is well-appointed and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. All modern conveniences available for use - coffee maker, microwave, split air/heaters, washer & dryer. Clear, quick communication with the host, easily accessed the property at check in. Our favorite feature was the deck in back, over looking the water, where we watched ferries crossing, eagles & geese hunting for food and gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend and hope to return soon for another stay! »

« My mom was thrilled with the tiny house. She said it was clean, comfortable, well appointed with everything she needed, and loved there was a fire pit. She was worried about the self check-in (she is 80 & not used to that sort of thing), but had no problems. « My wife and I had a great stay at this cottage. It is around other houses, but far enough away that we never noticed them plus it backs up to the woods. The hot tub out back was great. We had no problems with the wifi, we were able to stream movies on the tv. The location is great, is only 5-10 minutes to the horseshoe bend trail and only about 2 hours to Diablo lake and other sights on highway 20 in the North Cascades National Park. « At least in April, Lummi Island is remarkable for its silence. We heard birds, and an aircraft far away, and the occasional crinkly sound of the tires of slow moving “traffic.”One thing important for guests to note: The charming ferry can hold about 16 cars or one semi. Islanders leave in the morning 6-9-ish (I think to go to work, the sad souls) and return 4-6 ish. Those are busy ferry times. If you need to be someplace, get it the ferry line early. « Very nice property and very clean. It was definitely big enough for all 6 of us. We were visiting my son who lives in Bellingham and this was a great hangout home. The kids did a lot of fishing in both Lake Louise and Lake Whatcom, walking distance from the rental. The only negative was there was no oven/ stovetop. That was my bad. « We had a terrific time at the beach house. So close to the water we were able to see lots of wildlife activity. Seals, sea lions, variety of ducks, geese, eagles. We enjoyed beach combing during low tide. Listening to waves lap and crash on rocks. Played pickaball in nearby court, ran and walked pups in grassy fields near house. Lovely location. « I've stayed at more pristine properties, but this one really fit the bill! It has a funky offbeat feel to it, lots of wood and stone, and a really comfortable feel to it. It's dog friendly, with a nice back yard. Be forewarned that is not fully fenced. I'm hoping the monster jet tub gets fixed eventually, but the showers are excellent! Cooking inside or out was easy, and I appreciated not having to buy spices for cooking! I plan to stay here again, it's been great! »
