Charming Beach Front Getaway at Sandy Point

Unwind and enjoy tranquil days in this charming beachfront getaway. Located north west of Bellingham on Sandy Point Shores, where everything you need is close at hand. Grocery shopping in Ferndale or Bellingham, Bellis Fair Mall and beautiful board walks in Fairhaven are all within a Ā½ hour drive.

But bring everything with you because youā€™ll never want to leave. Located directly on the beach of Lummi Bay where the the view is ever changing with the tides. Youā€™ll love watching the birds and shore life in the morning sun from the deck where a picnic table and comfortable cushioned Adirondack chairs await. Spend some time in one of the two kayaks or stand up paddleboards that can be launched from the beach at high tide. Or stroll to the beach on the southern tip of the Shores then come back and enjoy happy hour on the lawn overlooking the bay. Lastly, enjoy dinner on the deck in the cool of the evening and time around the firepit at night.

Inside, enjoy the well-appointed kitchen with island, large reclaimed wood dining table and comfy couches. The expansive views from the great room with vaulted ceilings frame Mt. Baker and are simply stunning. Play a game, do a puzzle, read a book or just sit and watch the water. Its mesmerizing.

The three bedrooms each have quality, comfortable queen size beds with luxury hotel-style cotton sheets. The master bathroom has a shower and the main bathroom a tub/shower combo. Fresh towels are provided.

Beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, this cabin offers you everything youā€™ll need for a perfect vacation. Our best effort is made to sanitize high touch areas including kitchen, bathrooms and fixtures which are disinfected against the spread of Covid 19 during cleaning. However, Covid 19 is highly contagious and we can not provide a guarantee against our guests contracting it at our property. Please do not come to the property if you are at all unwell prior to your booking.

Note: Paddleboards, kayaks, picnic table and bbq are stored and not accessible from November 1 to April 1.

No smoking of any kind and no pets.

Really enjoyed working with the owner and she was incredibly responsive not only about the house or any questions, but about local attractions, shopping, etc. Truly a peaceful and quiet location with a spectacular view - itā€™s not a beach youā€™d go and sit on but wow, the views from the back of the house ! What a wonderful place to stay! The home is comfortable & well appointed (we cooked a whole Thanksgiving meal here)---the view spectacular (water & Mt. Baker) and the neighborhood quiet and peaceful. We'll be back!

This is our second time coming to this lovely property. We love the view, the tide going in and out, and the peacefulness of it all. The house is super clean, the decor beautiful, and the kitchen well equipped. There are great places to walk, and lots of God's creation to enjoy. I highly recommend this beach house!

A very charming home. Myself & the Aunts came for my daughterā€™s baby shower. The night after the shower our first grand baby was born three weeks early. Colleen was so accommodating in extending my stay. We all loved this place . Well stocked with everything we needed. The sun pouring through the windows in the morning as you overlook the ocean is incredible. Highly recommend this lovely place.

This home was so lovely. I knew when I saw the pictures online that this was where I wanted to stay with my three sacred friends. And it did not disappoint in person! The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated in whites and sea foam green/teal. The beds were comfortable, living room spacious and cozy, and the kitchen just perfect for preparing good meals and enjoying sitting around the table looking at the view. Coleen's responsiveness over email and text was awesome, and we felt cared for every step of the way. I would highly recommend this home if you are gathering with a few friends (there were four of us and it was just right), or as a family.

We are a family of four and came here for a relaxing weekend getaway. The property was very clean, had everything we could possibly need and is just steps from the water with wonderful wildlife viewing. We saw so many varieties of birds, a seal and enjoyed listening to fish jumping. It's a short drive from Bellingham. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Five stars from us, thank you.

There are not enough stars to represent how incredible this bay front property is! It is truly a home away from home that we did not want to leave at the end of our 3 nights. From the spacious and bright front room, to the 3 comfortable bedrooms, FULLY stocked kitchen, and amazing deck and lawn leading down to the bay, we rarely left the property during our time here while visiting our son at WWU. Enjoyed paddling and kayaking each evening, watching bald eagles, osprey, terns, and a plethora of birds, and playing games in front of the fire pit in the evenings. The outdoor shower is magical to rinse off in after each water adventure! We ended up making most of our meals here instead of eating out as it had every kitchen tool, pot, pan and dish that we needed to create amazing food from the Farmerā€™s market and local stores. There is also a bbq on the deck that we did not use, but appears to be available. The home was sparkling clean, modern and airy, while feeling like a comfortable and cozy place to gather with friends and family. We have had stayed in several places in and around Bellingham, and this has become our favorite one! Truly hope that we are able to return and stay here on our future visits to Bellingham.

This was our second time staying at this wonderful home. We have family in Sandy Point, and this home makes it easy for us to stay and visit with them. Cozy, clean and fully stocked with all the kitchen gadgets your could need. The owner is exceptional with communication and very accommodating to us, which was greatly appreciated. Pretty decor, comfortable beds, and well stocked home with beautiful water view. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with all the kitchen pans and tools needed for cooking any meal. Home has games, books, and extra blankets. Lots of seating options in kitchen and living room. Very clean. Bonus is access to the kayaks on site to enjoy the water and also several nice neighborhood walk options. We all 3 agreed this was a great place.!!
