« This is a delightful property with a lovely host. It isn’t anything flash but if you’re looking for quaint and original then this is perfect. It is an older house so has the creaky floor boards and matching decor. Bathroom is clean and newer. Slices were provided on arrival and a beautiful English breakfast included the next morning. Was able to go for walk down to the nearby lake and take in the surrounding beauty. Would be a great place to base yourself for exploring the lakes district...

« Hôtel bien situé dans le Lake District sur la route de Keswick. Il est tres facile à trouver avec un accès aisé. La parking peut sembler petit mais on peut facilement y trouver une place. L'endroit est cosy et sympathique pour y prendre un verre à la fin de la journée en profitant de la vue. La chambre est petite mais charmante. Il fait juste s'organiser un peu. Le point qui peut paraître negatif est l'heure de début de petit-déjeuner à 8H15 créant une certaine affluence. Heureusement le...

« It was a last minute booking to the lakes and we chose such a lovely hotel to stay with lake view on the top floor with climbing all the steps . Room was very comfy, bathroom clean, breakfast fabulous most importantly the staff were very helpful at all times. »

« We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions. We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented....
