« Whilst my room was small, it had all I needed. The highlight was the staff: reception and bar/restaurant staff were excellent. Polite, attentive, efficient. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. The restaurant menu for dinner was ok but sometimes a wider simpler choice would have been nice. »

« The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...

« The room was clean and large. There was an odd smell that bothered us, likely new paint or carpeting that had not been sufficiently aired out. There was no offer of assistance to lug our suitcases up two flights of stairs. We were not the only guest to struggle with this. Breakfast was good and the wait staff were friendly and efficient. Location was excellent for getting into the main part of town. Parking was not ideal - in a nearby lot. It would be nice if the hotel arranged specific parking...
