« Room was absolutely amazing couldn't fault at all clean & had everything needed, staff was friendly & so helpful they only thing that let the place down was the breakfast but honestly cant fault the rest the staff was amazing & didnt charge for the breakfast thank yous so much for everything »

« Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. The walls were wafer thin, you can hear the tap running and toilet etc from the room next door. Also the water in the bathroom made a right racket when you ran the tap, shower or flushed the toilet. « We enjoyed our Stay at Moresby hall. Nice old building in a nice spot. Nice room although the shower seemed to be leaking as the floor was constantly wet. Although this is a dog friendly hotel which I think should be made more clear when looking for hotels. I do think allowing dogs in a dining area is acceptable. « A beautiful B & B run by Karen in a tiny hamlet near Keswick. The room was delightful with comfortable bed and furnishings that matched the age and style of the building perfectly. Lovely view from the window over Karen's wonderful garden with, at the time I stayed, a hen with 8 tiny chicks. Parking was easy and the breakfasts filling and delicious. A wonderful stay in the Lake District. »

« The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. « Didn't have a very good experience at the Golf Hotel & was really disappointed for the money paid. Was given a twin room instead of a deluxe double room (which i'd paid more for). Had arranged for an early check-in with hotel for an extra £20 but this had been forgotten about. Tried to make conversation with the member of staff checking me in but got nothing back.
