« Really great stay! Outstanding service, especially from staff at the bar and check in desk. Loved seeing the bunnies on the lawn outside. Beautiful old property but needs a bit of a facelift in places. Room was comfortable but unfortunately the mattress sloped down on one side so I woke up several times fighting for my life to keep from rolling off the bed. Lovely stay overall though, good breakfast, would happily stay again. »

« A second comfortable stay here with friendly owners/staff. They don't serve food but were happy to refer me to a competitor across the street, where the food was great. Situated in the centre of a small village with narrow streets so parking is just around the corner. The car park provided gratis by the village but donations for upkeep are welcome. »

« Faultless stay. Friendly onwers, clean, comfortable and homely accommodation with great views from front of house. Best breakfast ever! Short country walk into Keswick (17 mins) for non drivers like me. Great base for exploring Lakes. »

« A very pleasant establishment just outside Keswick. Free parking and local bus stop. Room is in a really old terrace cottage full of character. The proprietor had a roaring fire going and she offered some homemade cafe to have with a brew. Breakfast was great - the eggs were fresh and provided by the hens in the garden. Can't wait to go back »

« It was a last minute booking to the lakes and we chose such a lovely hotel to stay with lake view on the top floor with climbing all the steps . Room was very comfy, bathroom clean, breakfast fabulous most importantly the staff were very helpful at all times. »

« Nice sized room. Matt was such a friendly host. Made my wife and I a great breakfast. Very convenient location to the Keswick market. Only a 5 minute walk. 20 minute drive to Grasmere village. We would definitely stay here again. »

« Hôtel bien situé dans le Lake District sur la route de Keswick. Il est tres facile à trouver avec un accès aisé. La parking peut sembler petit mais on peut facilement y trouver une place. L'endroit est cosy et sympathique pour y prendre un verre à la fin de la journée en profitant de la vue. La chambre est petite mais charmante. Il fait juste s'organiser un peu. Le point qui peut paraître negatif est l'heure de début de petit-déjeuner à 8H15 créant une certaine affluence. Heureusement le...
