« Great traditional pub in the centre of town, Bedrooms look to have been recently refurbished and were very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. »

« Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. »

« Really like our stay. The bed, duvet and pillows gave us an amazing sleep. Breakfast is as good as you will get. The two things to pick on were there was a bit of dust in the rooms and one of the rooms was very stuffy even with the fan on. As the windows only opened a little you couldn’t get much air in the room. »
