« Clean, cozy and nicely appointed efficiency apartment in the heart of Hammondsport. It was nice to walk to the lake, eateries and shops. We had no trouble finding on street parking. Lots to do in the area, antiquing, wineries, breweries, good restaurants and ice cream. We recommend the Hideaway! »

« only wish we would have reserved for the whole week. We appreciated that there were towels for both showers and the boat we rented from the marina. There was a keurig with coffee and hot chocolate. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Communication with the host was easy and check in a breeze with a code for the door. »

« Just a nice and clean place with all needed for a short stay to the region. Had some great sleep as well… highly recommend this little hideaway!!! »

« Host was prompt in replies. Really should have wi fi/internet in the stay (it’s 2025) tv is limited and unable to use firestick/roku. Says sleeps 4 beds are doubles so would be hard to fit 2 adults. No space for pantry/dry goods. 5 ponds. Enjoyed walking around them. Sunrises are beautiful. Would stay again. »

« We were in the area for a family wedding. The apartment worked very well for myself and my husband. It is very clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent and the water heated up quickly. The only downfall was; as senior citizens we missed having grab bars in tub. We enjoyed breakfast one morning at the golf club restaurant- a plus. »

« This charming farmhouse fit our needs perfectly! We easily took several day trips in the area, enjoying the sites nearby- Letchworth State Park, Stoney Brook State Park, Corning and the Museum of Glass, Seneca Falls and the National Women's Hall of Fame, Six Flags Darian Lake and the Arcade & Attica Steam Railroad. The decor was lovely and the kitchen fully outfitted. We loved our stay! »

« Unique apartment space that has high ceilings and walls painted in soft white and gray colors that created a relaxing and calm feeling during our stay. Clean, full of natural light, plenty of a/c and a nice kitchenette. We did miss having a lamp available though. Nightlights in all the right places. Quiet neighborhood that we enjoyed walking to/from Depot Park, the local dining options and shops. Worth mentioning are the steps going up to the second floor to the apartment are a bit narrow and...

I highly recommend renting this property for visiting with a larger group instead of renting a hotel room when visiting the school, it was perfect for a relaxing grad weekend!!!We were very happy with the house, location and Mary Alice was a pleasure to deal with. « We had an amazing visit for a weekend girls trip. It was very easy to check in, the property was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. Location was perfect. Walkable to everything we needed and only a short ride to some of the wineries we wanted to visit. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning did not work well so sleeping was uncomfortable since it was a warm during our stay. Otherwise, highly recommend!! »

« Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay this past weekend. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everyday needs. We were allowed to use the shower in the barn, which was a great surprise. Overall we were very satisfied with the location, cleanliness, and hospitality of the ranch staff. Highly recommend!! »
