This apartment is a great value for a family group as long as they can manage the 18 steps of the spiral staircase. There are five rooms (2 bedrooms with queen beds; living room with sofa-bed; kitchen and bath), all of which are very spacious. There is lots of storage spaces in the kitchen and bathroom. We stayed a week to visit family nearby and enjoyed the quiet location. The host responded very quickly to any needs that we had. We two were very comfortable, but a family group of 5 or 6 might find that 4 kitchen chairs would not be enough. Also, it would be nice to have a chair in each bedroom as well as lamps on both sides of the beds. A second lamp in the living room would also be helpful. One of the bedrooms does not have any mirror. But everything (fridge, stove, coffeemaker, etc.) worked and we enjoyed our stay.
A historical farm house on the top of a hill. Nicely kept grounds and a beautiful area. Huge barns. Open fields and open sky. The only downside was a steep, albeit really cool spiral staircase to climb. If you are young and vigorous, then you will love it.
We canât wait to come back. We hosted my daughterâs college graduation party there! It was perfect in every way. Owners were so accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
Our second stay here. Lovely 2nd floor apartment with a great view. Comfy, well appointed and close to SUNY Geneseo and several good eateries. Beautiful grounds, quiet area.
We stayed for a long Easter weekend visiting our daughter at SUNY Geneseo. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and in a great location with beautiful views. We befriended an adorable cat or should I say she befriended us including our elderly dog. A great place to stay when in the area.
This home was definitely a favorite for our family. We love places that have history. And all the details they kept when remodeling is definitely appreciated. The house was easy to find, we didn't have any issues checking in and property management was easy to get ahold of with and questions we had. For the most part it was clean. However the fridge and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. There was pieces of stuff in the fridge drawers and the freezer. I would add in some more pans for people to utilize when there as well. I ended up havening to go out and buy a sauce pan to make spaghetti. And some new dish sponges because the one that was available had already been used previously. Other than that it was a great place to stay. Bedrooms were clean and tidy, there were extra towels and the living room was cozy with the little fireplace. Thank you again for the accommodations. We will definitely look into this place again if we are ever in the area.
Loved our stay here! Host was informative and response. The place was so clean and very comfortable. We have family in the area and will be staying again when we're in town. Thank you!
Needed a place to stay near Letchworth State Park for a family reunion and this was perfect. It was in close enough proximity, reasonably priced and comfortable. The host is wonderful and if you needed anything he was responsive quickly. The place was clean and comfortable.
Found chips in bedding, used contact on bathroom counter. Was ideal location & property manager was good at communicating @ granting date change requests.
Located on a beautiful peaceful property. The unit itself is historic, quaint and comfortable. Everything was as expected. The host Jacob was very attentive, accommodating, kind and helpful. He informed us of local events happening during our stay and even invited us to join their family celebration. Would stay again.
(Note: The steepness of the spiral stairs up/down was mentioned in a previous review - we managed just fine.)
Overall, the property is beautifully on top of a hill with not one house nearby. The apartment is spacious with comfortable beds. Location allowed us to get to stores in about 10 min and Niagara Falls easily. Pillows are not the most comfortable and the kitchen needs some TLC in order to be functional for a family stay, but we were happy here. Firepit smores were our favorite!
This was quite possibly the best experience with VRBO or other similar sites. The place was immaculate and such a fun spot to spend the few evenings we were there. There is a little farm cat wandering around outside which my three daughters were infatuated with as well. Will definitely book again and stay longer next time!
The property was historic, clean, spacious and had a gorgeous view from atop a large hill over the surrounding farmland. Has smart TVs in the bedrooms and living area, a full kitchen with a microwave, and a large bathroom with fluffy host provided towels and soap/hair products. Entering and parking was very easy and I lived that there was a small guestbook to write about your stay. Geneseo is a short drive away, with dining options and bars, and the Letchworth park has plenty of hiking and beautiful waterfalls. We had a great time and would book again if in the area!
