« We had such a wonderful long weekend staying at this historic cottage tucked up in the trees. We loved the deck, dock (with umbrellas!), and beach area, and our dog loved swimming and exploring. Access to the state park is great. The house stayed cool, the bed is comfortable, and the location is perfect. We will be back »

« We (two couples) spent three nights here. The lake is beautiful and the stairs down to the lake are new and well-constructed. The house is really nice, with comfortable beds and pleasant bedrooms, an excellent common area leading to a pleasant porch. Backyard is a good space. Bathrooms and kitchens are well set up. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. »

« The location and view are great, and house is great for big groups. There was plenty of space for our group. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking with ample space. The pizza oven took a little to get going, but the pizzas were great. We didn't get to take advantage of the trails or outdoors due to weather, but we definitely want to stay again and do some hiking and enjoy the outdoor space and view. »

« We stayed here with our teenage children. The teenagers enjoyed hanging out in the beach cottage. The dock & beach area was large enough for our group to enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, & jet skiing. Yes, as many of the reviews note there are many stairs at this property. If walking / stairs are an issue for you, this is not the place for you. The owner was very responsive. It was indeed a "cozy retreat" for our family. »
