« Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site. »

« The cabin is new, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Also dog friendly!! The kitchen has everything you need. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable and nobody had any complaints at all! Perfect for those in the area for outdoor adventures such as hunting and fishing. « Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better location for a long weekend of fishing and relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and the sunroom was perfect for morning coffee and evening beverages after a long day on the water. Troy was a great communicator and was very responsive. We will definitely be back! »

« Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. « This house was perfect for our family. We brought our kids and dogs for a hunting trip. The garage was convenient to leave the dog trailer in. We loved the yard (our dogs did too) and that we could walk to the Outpost Lodge for lunch and to the lake. There’s also some really nice walking trails close by overlooking the lake.. so beautiful. I would suggest a binder with WIFI info, special things about the home, what to do with the bedding (leave it as is or strip the beds), whether you are to wash your dishes and put away or leave, local attractions, stores, etc. »
