« We had a nice time at “Grandma’s House in the Woods”. It was quiet and peaceful. Perfect for an evening of relaxing after a long day of side by side riding through the hills. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the items to cook and eat meals. Laundry room was available to use. The host was very courteous and helpful and always responded timely to our texts. We highly recommend it. »

« This home is in a perfect location to explore The Black Hills region. With the second floor game/tv room and The Great Room layout, there was plenty of room for our large group to spread out when needed. The grandkids loved the hot tub and the professional grade air hockey table, which hosted many competitions. The front porch sitting area was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, sunrise and a beautiful view. The owner lives directly behind the home in his detached workshop/apartment and is...

« This property was perfect for our family. The location in a quiet Spearfish neighborhood was a great place to return to after a long day of fun. The setup was great for us. We had 5 adults and 4 kids ranging from 4-13. There was lots of space for everyone. The house was incredibly clean and well stocked with necessities. The hot tub and playroom downstairs got lots of use. We will definitely rent this property the next time the whole family visits SD. »

« Our stay was perfect. Everything was spotless. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy. We were traveling with our small dog and with a small fee she was allowed to stay. There is a grassy yard for play and potty. She even spotted a bunny in the grass. The location was quiet and centrally located to everything we wanted to see and do. It was about 10 minutes to the town of Custer. In town there was a good grocery store as well as restaurants. Our interaction with the hosts was minimal...

Dakota du Sud : les avis sur les hôtels les plus prisés

La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham at WaTiki Waterpark

8/10 Bien

"Overall, everything was good. Only complaint: no ice on the 2nd floor and the fridge had no freezer compartment. Breakfast : eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yoghurt, apples. The juice was watered down since it had ice cubes in it."

Baymont by Wyndham Rapid City

10/10 Excellent

"Hôtel et chambre bien entretenus, Nous avons bien été accueillis par une demoiselle blonde cheveux courts à notre check in, Elle nous a donné bcp d'infos et conseils pour les points touristiques. Petit déjeuner buffet satisfaisant, Plusieurs possibilités de restauration à pied, Facile de se garer"

The Dakota

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed one night at The Dakota in Sioux Falls as a stopover before heading to Chicago, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the room was spacious — exactly what you need after a long day on the road. The lady at reception was exceptionally kind and welcoming, which we truly appreciated. Check-in did feel noticeably longer than at other places we’ve stayed during our trip even though the guest checking in in front of us was mostly done, but the staff remained courteous throughout and was simply filling all the paper work needed to give us our keys. Our biggest disappointment was that the swimming pool was unavailable, despite our confirmation email received that day highlighting the pool hours of operation. After a seven-hour drive, a swim would have been perfect and we were looking forward to it. The receptionist saw our devasted faces when she shared that the pool was closed and actually offered compensation, but unfortunately, since we had booked through Expedia, she couldn’t process it. Talk about disappointment!! Breakfast was standard for this type of stay - simple but sufficient. The hotel is also conveniently located close to charming downtown Sioux Falls, which pleasantly surprised us with great dining options, a beautiful park, and interesting historical sites. Despite the hiccup with the pool, we’d still say it was a good stay overall, and the friendly service made a difference."
