« My husband, four grandchildren, and I enjoyed the beautiful, clean, and spacious townhouse. The scenery is amazing with the lake and mountains in the background. It’s tripled level with a deck or balcony on each level was impressive as well as it is tucked back in a great, quiet community. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of items to ensure you had what you have in your own home. The Keurig and coffee pods allowed us to start the day caffeinated! With 6 of us in total, having 2.5 bathrooms...

« Fully stocked and clean..away from city noise but proximity to restaurants, grocery, within 5miles. Peaceful setting and if you like wild life the deer are plentiful. We loved seeing the horses everyday!! We would highly recommend staying here. »

« This is an amazing property. The beds are so comfortable, and the furnishings have been tastefully picked out to fit the house perfectly. The outdoor spaces are also very nice. You can walk right next door to Black Dog Salvage or take a nice walk on the trail. »

« This was the perfect house for our family for our daughter’s VT graduation! First and foremost, it was extremely clean and tidy. The owner left snacks, paper products and travel-sized toiletries for our use. The kitchen was well-stocked with all essential supplies, and the basement/game room was a hit. We would 100% stay here again; it is a beautiful house! »

« I visited in the fall with some college friends for a game weekend, and had an incredible stay! The house is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance to campus and downtown. The host was extremely helpful and communicative. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Blacksburg for a weekend! »

« This was our 5th stay at this beautiful place. We love everything about it! It is quiet and peaceful and feels very far away - but we can get to downtown Blacksburg in 15 minutes. It is very close to lots of great hiking places. The fenced in area is perfect for dogs (just check for deer before you let them out!)The hosts are very easy to communicate with. We had to change our dates at the last minute, and they worked with me to find new dates. We will be back! »

« Property was exactly as described, online photos where accurate, kitchen(s) were ideal for prepping meals for our family and friends, and living room/common spaces were ample in size for everyone (16 house guests), plus 25 college students that came to eat, socialize during the day, and play the multiple outdoor game equipment we rented from our graduate’s school. »

« We had a great stay at the appropriately called Getaway. Peaceful location and enjoyable amenities and views. If you dont mind a bit more driving with winding roads to get back and forth up the mountain, there is no need to look further. We all really enjoyed our stay. »

« We chose this place because online it looked unique, clean, on large property with creek frontage, It surpassed our expectations. The house has so many extra touches, including fresh cut flowers from the garden in a vase upon our arrival. Craigs Creek is larger than I expected. I have lived places that this would be called a small river and it is lovely. The property provided canoes and kayaks with paddles and life jackets. We checked in on Friday and Checked out on Sunday.
