« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Extremely clean, perfect location, Loved the fire pit! We ate at the new place 3miles down the road called Hanging Rock Tavern, highly suggest them! And hiked McAfee Knob, which every single step was worth the view at the top. Would absolutely stay again »

« It was more beautiful than the pictures and peaceful. I thought there would have been more traffic on the water but only a few boats. The hottub was my favorite part with a book and a spectacular view. It was amazing, we highly recommend. »

« Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. »

« Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay. »

« A happy time was had, if gave us the perfect base for visiting our family in Fincastle. Tha cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything you need to be a home away from home. »

« We had a lovely stay at Smith Mountain Lake Cottage. We brought our two college age children and Golden Retriever. It was the perfect home base for kayaking on the lake and hiking at Smith Mountain Lake State Park and Peaks of Otter. We had lots of indoor and outdoor space at the house. It was clean and everything was well kept. Our hosts responded to communications quickly. We would definitely recommend this house rental. »

"I am satisfied more than enough for the greeting and the state of the hotel but there is a but... I was unfortunate enough te reserve a room that has been plastered/ sanded ans painted very recently. The post work clean -up was not up to my standard. Got exzema rashes fron the dusty sheets and allergies fron the AC prefilters I decided to clean myself and the duuuust.. from the rug to the shelves ans facecloth omg. Otherwise super well maintained and confortable plus quiet"
