« Very clean, the property is well designed. They take super good care of everything there. Staff was out in the morning cleaning the deck around the pool and the gas grill too. »

« This cottage was perfect for our 5 year anniversary get away. It’s close enough to attractions and shops/restaurants/breweries if you want to explore. It is also nestled just outside (2 min drive) of all of this to allow for a beautiful secluded stay. My husband and I enjoyed all had to offer. The fresh eggs and bread (dairy free bc I can’t have dairy) were a special touch. We would return! Edgar and Elizabeth were wonderful hosts. I even took home fresh eggs for the week. »

« My Service Dog Javier and I enjoyed our stay at Misty Blue. The house was lovely, with cool artistic touches throughout. I love older homes, and this one has been very well maintained.Although I did not cook in the kitchen, it was well supplied with everything one might need. The house is located in a great area and I walked everywhere. »

« Cottage was a wonderful home away from home, the cottage was adorable as were the gardens and location, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay - absolutely delightful! »

« This cottage was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Charlottesville area! It has a nice secluded feel and yet is close to wineries, grocery stores, etc. We were not bothered at all by the train or cars on 250. The house itself is even more charming than in the pictures with carefully selected touches for a tea room vibe. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mary was very responsive to questions and all instructions were very helpful. I would definitely love to return! »

« Very nice quiet cabin in the Shenandoah valley. Perfect location while we were in town for a wedding. The cabin --could-- sleep 4, but be advised the upper bedroom is accessed only w a steep, long ladder. It's not a good sleeping place if you're bringing children. But for the two of us it was perfect. »

« The stay was lovely- just a reminder to check the single cup coffee maker.Cottage is well equipped with anything you can imagine. Food in refrigerator over the top, thank you. Wonderful stay! Thank you! »

« Property is 5-10 minutes from night-sky observing area at Sky Meadows State Park. »

« This location is beautiful! It is very relaxing whether you are by the lake, the pool, or just walking around the property. The fishing was a lot of fun and there’s a good variety of fish. Also, there is a reason most reviews comment on how nice Tabby is. She is a very lovely person! The space was very roomy and clean. It was myself, my husband, and our two kids, and we fit very nicely in the space. I think the coffee bar was my favorite! I would very happily stay there again! »

« The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. »

« Very secluded and private. Cabin was very nice, comfortable for 2 people.Walk to dock through woods isnt too bad. Weather was sunny our whole trip so did not have any issues with power, generator did kick in every morning for a little bit. Make sure you bring flaslights or some other outdoor lighting, especially if you have dogs because it is very dark at night with only the light from the porch available. Luckily we were prepared. The wifi wasnt working and didnt find it until the last day but...

« Overall a great stay. The location was perfect and easy to get to wineries, breweries, and many restaurants, but was secluded enough to feel like a vacation. »
