« My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The checkin process was flawless. He even offered us early checkin! We enjoyed the local restaurants while visiting, but if we had chosen to cook the kitchen is FULLY stocked with every pot, pan and spices you could need! The dock is very nice right at the entrance of the canal so you can watch boats coming in/out all day & night! Free entertainment!! There is a boat launch just 2 streets over that only costs 5 to use. Very convenient location!...

« Relaxing visit to this cozy, well apportioned cottage. Bathroom and two bedrooms are small but doable for 2 adults. Windows, views, and lake breezes did not disappoint! »

« Overall we were pleased with our stay. There was a few things that could have been improved: the bathtub took a little longer than normal to drain, and we had a few issues with the AC unit, but other than that our stay went well! We really enjoyed the fact that there was a privacy fence, a fire pit, free WiFi, and a grill. Also, the hosts were very helpful when we had to get in touch with them with a few questions. »

« This house is in a beautiful location on the east bay of Houghton Lake. We got to see an amazing sunset from the dock. The sliding glass doors provide gorgeous lake views from the dining area and living area. The host provided all kinds of extras such as popcorn, candy, shampoo, Keurig cups, and much more. Everyone in our group young and old enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, kayaks, floating pad. Hope to stay here again. »

« The cottage is absolutely adorable! We enjoyed a weekend there for Tip Up Town and even though it was freezing, it was an easy walk on the lake to the beer tent and a short walk on the road to the Limberlost. The host was communicative. It was a great stay! »

« Traveled with extended family to family reunion. The first thing my 2yr old grandson said to describe the kitchen was “this is nice!” Very roomy and, unlike some other places, well stocked with necessities. Interaction with host was quick and helpful. Overall, wonderful stay!! »

« This is a nice 4 bedroom house walkable to Higgins lake. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. It has amazing water pressure in the showers. There is plenty of room for large groups. There is a large fire pit with plenty of seating. Firewood not supplied but you can buy it for 6 a bundle. No bath or hand towels. Shallow water for quite a ways out but very clear. Overall great place to stay. »
