« My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a little getaway. The cottage was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable as well. There was a strong smell of what we think must be burnt popcorn in the kitchenette area. It wasn’t unbearable though. The kitchenette had everything you would need to cook a small meal which was nice. The disposable coffee cups were so nice to have so we could take a coffee to-go. « We stayed at this cozy house for a week and it was perfect. It was in the country so we felt like we got away, yet it was close to Traverse City for dining and shopping. We enjoyed fishing on several local lakes as well exploring the area. The home was clean, comfortable, and great getaway for two. »

« This is one of the cleanest places we have stayed at, everything was wonderful! It truly felt like you were at home. The river view is so beautiful, and the hot tub was a great way to relax. We loved the downtown area, and the hosts have a list of recommendations and we went to the pizza place and 10/10! We wish we would’ve gotten one to go. Would love to visit again! 10/10 for the entire trip! »

« Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. They’re in the process of updating it so right now so many things are pretty rough around the edges, especially the interior of the cabins. We wouldn’t hesitate to...

« We loved staying in an iconic mushroom house (smallest one I think) and the house is surprisingly spacious. The design of the “Half House” is well-organized inside, you just feel like an oversized person in a hobbit house in the most adorable way (yes, ceiling height was great!). The fireplace was our favorite feature. Our host was kind and gracious, all amenities were supplied and we just loved it here. »

« We only stayed one night, but it was a great place to stay. The lady who checked us in was friendly. The cottage was roomy for our party of 3 plus dog. We didn't cook but it was nice to have kitchen facilities, plates, and silverware for heating up left-overs for breakfast before hitting the road. We would stay again if in the area. »

« Location is convenient, house adorable, furniture is a big denim hug. Cozy if its chilly at night - great deck area to get a nice tan. Bed is super comfy with a great view of water. And our favorite- a shower wand! Keurig handy as well. We ordered pizza up the road and had breakfast at Cafe 106. Played pickleball near water plant -nice courts. »

« Walked around the shops in town then ate at Mauro’s Italian restaurant downtown. Perfect night capped by listening to live music at Wally’s. A fun stay! »

« We stayed here the weekend of a large event at the fairgrounds. Plenty of room for Trailers. We had two trucks with two car trailers! Was nice to have a quiet place to come back to after a few busy days! »

« Great location. Everything was just as listed shows. Very clean and all new inside. Enjoyed watching all the wildlife, fishing and going out on the paddleboat. Will definitely be returning. Host was great, easy to work with and quick to reapond. »

The fireplace added the perfect touch of warmth and ambiance, especially while relaxing and listening to the collection of random vinyls—such a fun and nostalgic touch. The location was ideal, with the beach just a short walk away. Peaceful, charming, and a great place to unwind. Highly recommend! »
