« Very good in all aspects. Worked very well with all members of our family »

« This was a great home to bring our family together for Mother's Day weekend. The location is central for many of the usual UP adventures. The kitchen is large enough for multiple people to prep meals and the dining area is adjacent to allow everyone to chat during meal prep. The kids loved the play kitchen and air hockey table. The yard was large and had a fire pit to roast marshmallows and keep the chill from spring's blustery winds at bay in the evening. »

« We had a wonderful trip and truly enjoyed this property! It was a real treat to have our own private lake, and we could watch the fish jump, the busy beavers hard at work and the bald eagles looking for dinner. The hosts were exceptionally accommodating and very quick to respond to all our requests. We hope to stay again in the not too distant future! »

« This property and the accomodations for our group of (10) adults for an ORV Getaway was AMAZING!!! Very clean, comfortable, roomy and plenty of room for parking trucks/trailers. None of us had any complaints whatsoever and anticipate we will return sometime in the future. « Just bring some food and friends and enjoy a scenic drive to the lodge. Once you arrive everything you need is there ready for you to enjoy the private lake in the scenic northern Michigan forest with your friends. Note: If you go in the Winter, you may want 4-wheel drive. Some the hills can be hard to get up if its snowy. »

« The location of this cottage is excellent! It is near several hiking trails, public beaches, a great grocery store and restaurants. We LOVED the deck and the swing by the water. The interior was well-appointed and comfortable with lots of seating and sleeping options. We appreciated having WiFi access. The host supplied detailed, easy to follow information for check-in and check-out. We hope to come back to this wonderful cottage. »

« The sounds of the river as we sat on the deck were amazing! Our sons (ages 11-15) had a great time looking for crayfish in the river and exploring the trails. We even saw a bald eagle flying over the river! This is an amazing home and property. It was a perfect location for our day trips to Kitch-iti-kipi, Manistique to rent ORVs, and the beaches of the Au Train/Munising area. We would love to return some day! »

« Exactly what a quiet week Up North should be. Cabin was well-furnished, five (!!) different boats provided, firewood provided, quiet lake with, from what I could tell, 5 total cabins on it. Almost zero mosquitos, but a good amount of flies by the shore. Hosts escorted us to the property at check-in, which I was not used to, but because it's so far off the road that's really the best way to do it. »

« We were here for a summer trip, but could see how it would be excellent for a snow mobiling trip. Enjoyed the game room. Lots of space, good kitchen, laundry, 4 bedrooms. We had everything that we needed. »
