« We stayed for a week in July 2025 in a one bedroom/studio apartment with a rooftop pool. The VRBO pictures are accurate, but don’t really do justice to the space. The entire building is new. Though the room was small (maybe 375 square feet deck), it was very comfortable. View from the deck is amazing. The lobby and pool area are very nice. « I couldn’t recommend this stay enough. It truly felt like we hit the jackpot with this gorgeous home. My partner and I went on our 5 year anniversary and everything was perfect. The communication with the host was prompt and seamless. We were in the heart of everything, close to the Aki convenience store and got to wake up and come home to the sound of the ocean daily. « Villa Amistad took our breath away the moment we opened the front door & could see the ocean through the beautiful glass doors into the beautiful pool area. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks transforms you. You are only separated from the ocean by a lovely walkway, called the Malecon that runs a good length of the island & the Villa has direct access to it through a door next to the pool which was a plus.
