« What a perfect get away. The cabin is situated on a rural grass road, surrounded by trees, birds singing all day and frogs peeping at night. It feels like you are in the middle of the jungle, yet it’s only minutes away from Volcano National Park. The cabin is picturesque both inside and out. The hot tub was an added bonus after a day of exploring the park. »

« We loved the modern cabin and its amenities. Convenient location only 3 miles from Volcano National Park. Not as secluded as you might think - which could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for… Neighbors were noisy at times and you can hear highway traffic. But you also hear frogs and birds! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend and would book again! »

« Relaxing two weeks in a mini heaven. Amazing property, clean, well appointed. Close to the volcano, with a pleasant drive down the mountain. The outdoor shower was a plus. We hope to return. »

« This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The...

« Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. Everything you need is there and you get a chance to interact with nature and fellow travelers. For a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, this property checks all the boxes. »
