« Great check in, friendly and informative. Food is delicious, I made the mistake of ordering a starter as the main meals are large portions and great value for money. My advice would be to order a main and if you are still hungry go for a desert but I doubt you will need it. Would highly recommend »

« Somthing badly wrong here. Food on offer was only Chinese plus two Tex-Mex dishes!! (Luckily very good traditional pub fare up the road). The hotel plays on the name of Shakespeare's mother and excellent 16th century farm visit in the village but our room was boring 21st century furnishings plus a totally awful art-deco style lampshade. One couple arriving after us found no record of their booking even though they had printed confirmation. Another arrived another day to find no manager/ess on...

« Fabulous stay, we also ate in the bar Friday evening and food was delicious. Room really spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was cornflakes so we drove out. Church clock across chimes on the hour, every hour. We did get used to it »
