« Perfect stay »

« We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Highly recommend! »

« An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you »

« Hôtel agréable, un peu vieillot mais entretenu. Salle d'eau fonctionnelle mais tâches au plafond et roulettes de la porte de la douche sortie de son emplacement (remise en place par nos soins). Literie agréable (matelas pas dur). Connection internet facile. Petit déjeuner simple mais correct, diner copieux. Personnel aimable et réactif. »

« We stayed here for the weekend of26th June , what a gem of a place to find . Room was lovely , staff were very chatty and nothing was too much trouble , food excellent . Although not in the normal hot spot stays , this pub is in a quiet location but not far from anywhere . Highly recommend a stay here at this pub »

« En réservant j’avais pris un lit double par erreur. J’ai envoyé un message et nous avons eu une suite avec deux chambres dont un lit double et 3 lit simples. Plutôt bien et surclassé ! L’hotel est propre le personnel réactif et bien situé pour partir rapidement de Coventry »

« Love the location. Staff that I met were v friendly. The food was excellent and well worth the stay. The room was comfortable and pleased to see coffee bags rather than the disgusting tubes of Nescafe which most hotels do. There were a couple pf things which werent so good but it wouldnt stop me staying again. In the evening the water took a while to warm up which was ok however in the morning it didnt at all. I had a wet shave waiting for it to heat up so shave was in cold water and shower was...

« Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again! »

« We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy and clean room. The craft cocktails and cuisine on site are absolutely next level and far exceeded our expectations for this rural village hotel. Parking on site and all staff were helpful and so friendly. We would definately come back again, we already miss “The George!” »
