After traveling for an hour from our hotel hoping that we would not miss the sunset we arrived at our destination and quickly setup and waited for the sun to disappear to the righthand side of the rolling hills in the Lake District and when it did we started shooting long exposures of around 60 seconds so that it would smooth the water out and get movement in the dark moody sky above and finally after about 10 minutes the sun hit the hills in the distance and what a site it was

« The cottage is so homely and had everything you needed! Definitely a home from home. Hot tub was a fantastic edition. We also used the pizza oven one evening. Both bathrooms had powerful and hot showers. The host was very attentive and responded within hours of sending a message. Location is just picture perfect, with Ennerdale Water a 2 min drive away with plenty parking. There isn’t much else to do, other than walk at the lake, it was very quiet and peaceful.
