« Cozy cottage for two in a beautiful area. »

« Wonderful stay and a great location. Friendly neighbours and a great cafe opposite. Owners have gone above and beyond to make the stay comfortable with a wide variety of games, books, telescope, kitchen spices etc... the kitchen is very high tech and brilliantly equipped. The bedrooms are wonderfully spacious and comfortable with amazing views over the sea. Our only negative is the cleanliness of the downstairs. It had been cleaned but it needed a good deep clean. The beach and fur babies meant...

« Absolutely amazing. The view was brilliant, the cabin was perfect, and was welcomed on arrival and made to feel part of the family. Would definately recommend and will be coming back in the future. »

« Very quiet and peaceful in which the caravan is situated, 20mins drive to the nearest supermarket, well equipped kitchen, caravan was lovely the only downside was the cleaning especially in the shower as it was full of cobwebs, spiders and flies, also came to use the oven and there was a dirty oily tray in there, the main areas were clean like worktops etc, I did have a really pleasant stay I can’t fault that, and I did clean everything I’ve mentioned, I just don’t think enough people stay...

« Lovely cottage, not fancy but what I expected on a farm and in the area. There are no shops within walking distance, so best to get stocked up. Dog friendly ! And the farm dogs are friendly as well - just like the farmer and his son !If you like a quiet area, and being outdoors this is the right place for you.Good pub about a 15 minute walk away - but this is across fields and through woods so I wouldn't do if it was dark. »

« Lovely comfy cottage warm and snug. I could spend the rest of my days sat on the balcony! Good food at the Harbour Inn and the Ski bar. The dog loved the walks on the beach a lovely lovely place xx »

« Lovely location definitely need a car as several miles to a main road via a rough track , All coal and wood supplied for the log burner . No local shops so need to take food with you and then pick up more if you see a food store. If you want to eat out nearest pub for food a few miles away Interesting places to visit eg Coniston and Windermere lakes and Ravenglass within easily drivable distances but through very twisty and up and down mountain roads once you get up to the main road . »
