« Great location for a walk to the lake or a bus trip further afield. House is great, lots of room for 2 adults and 3 teens. »

« Very disappointed, The property needs a complete renovation, not as advertised, don’t rely on reviews as they are not consistent., apparently there have been problems there for many years & have not been put right. Have made a complaint to company advertising this property & said they should check it out as I don’t want any other people rent the property to be disappointed as we were, it needs a complete update. »

« Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend. »

« Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. »

« Luke's Hoose felt really homely as soon as we opened the door. Great views from the elevated living room, looking over the town and hills beyond. So close to the main street so was easy to access all the shops, bars etc. »

« The flat windows had large gaps in them and as we had stormy weather when we were there the noise woke the children up through the night! There was also a lot of dust and the flat wasn’t the cleanest. »

« A beautiful old cottage in a stunning location, with a comfortable garden out the back (mind the low doorway). My second stay here, just as good. Extremely well equipped, very comfortable beds etc. Had a little difficulty with reliable hot water until we sussed out the magic Boost button, and the bird feeders could do with being replaced, but these are nitpicks. Most important, I rate cottages by: do they come with a tea strainer, and Scot Beck does. »

« What a fabulous cottage in a brilliant location, close to pubs, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Debs is a fab host and was really helpful recommending fabulous places to eat and things for us to do with our 3 year old grandaugher. The house is cosy and warm, the beds are super comfy and the house itself was spotlessly clean. We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and hopefully will get a chance to go again, but my gut feeling is it will quickly become fully booked as it really is a...

« As in previous reviews, no internet connection. Strangely able to get netflix on both bedroom tv’s but not on the main one. Lovely living space & bed very comfortable. Good location on site and all areas of park dog friendly. Would return. Could possibly get better quality frying pans. Both warped when using. »
