« Wonderful set up at The Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family break. All the mod cons, particularly liked the electric window blinds. Kitchen facilities was excellent and more than adequate. We also took our own coffee machine for that extra home comfort. Location was pretty central for the places we wanted to visit. « This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. « A lovely place to stay . The hot tub was amazing the water was lovely and hot . It was very clean , we had everything we needed . The farm dogs were lovely they come to greet us when we got there . The owners are very friendly . The location is stunning , it’s surrounded by fields and there are donkeys , cows nearby which made it really nice . Would highly recommend staying there . Thanks for making it a lovely stay for us . »

« We had a lovely few days in this quaint cottage. There is everything you need and very close to the village pub, where they let us park our car, as not really ideal outside the cottage. Will definitely return if we go back to the Lake Distruct. »
