« This place (the "Mountain Haven" unit) is Adorable! The entire campground is lovely and peaceful. We will definitely return, as we had a wonderful time. This unit is next to a lake; a short little walk from a running river. It's a beautiful place to walk around. There's a hot tub which we enjoyed both nights; we used the outdoor grill for cooking steaks (from the nearby English Cattle Company - local "farm to table" beef) and sweet potatoes; there's a fully stocked kitchen and a very...

« The room was spacious enough, but on our first day, the TV wasn't working; we were told this was an issue in all the rooms. When I asked at the reception the next morning, they were completely unaware of the problem but promised to look into it. Naturally, we received no compensation. The TV was indeed fixed on the second day. I had also booked breakfast with the room, but the meal was poor and not worth the price. The selection was very limited, and the portions were far from satisfying. »

« Very close to Linville Falls walking trails and just off the designated blue ridge parkway access road. It had heating which was great for drying clothes and on a very wet and windy night. Very large and comfy bed. There were no coffee/tea making facilities in room and you had to go to the reception building (separate and no undercover route) to get hot water (and take your own instant coffee/tea). There was a fridge and microwave in the room but no crockery/cutlery. Building was reasonably...

« Great Cabin with everything you need for a stay in the mountains! Cabin itself is lil close to road but you can't beat the location on the Parkway for convenience, right in the middle of Banner Elk & Beech Mountain, both are within a 10 minute drive. Roomy inside with good amenities. Washer & dryer really came in handy The enclosed back porch with an oversized hot tub was amazing after long days of hiking and exploring the area. Would/will definitely stay again & would recommend! »
