With a blanket of snow covering the ground, we were a bit bummed about missing out on the hot tub, but we made the most of it during our unforgettable family trip to the stunning mountains. It was truly an adventure filled with memories we'll cherish forever! »

« The room was great. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great. I wish I had more time to use the fitness center because it was waaaaay better than one might find in other hotels. Of course, the hotel is in the heart of Boone. »

« It's always such a treat to stay here..... I literally decided to stay up in the mnts even having to drive down to Asheville for work the next morning... the place is wonderfully kept, great staff - and an amazing setting with excellent food.... Looking forward to my next visit ! »

« Location was convenient for skiing Sugar. The home doesn’t have central heating or air so it might be too cold or too hot, depending on the season. They have many blankets for the bed rooms but could use an addition of a space heater in the living area. There are not blackout curtains in the bedrooms and the blinds aren’t enough to block out the street lights so be aware if you’re light sensitive. »

« The rooms were really cool 50’s throwback type. The beds were really comfortable and everything was really clean. I only had one small complaint in that there is no live TV to watch local channels. We would definitely stay there again. »

« The cabin was nice and well equipped but the driveway was impossible to get up. Not sure we would have been able to get up the driveway in better circumstances, but it was a complete sheet of ice and one person in our party got stuck halfway up in a jeep. We had to park at the bottom on a sheet of ice, which someone slipped on, and bring our stuff up the 5 mins hike it took (I timed it) with our luggage. This should have been communicated before our stay, but it was not. »
