« My son and I (and two dogs) stayed here for one night during a road trip for hiking. From reading the old reviews it seems like the new owners have really been putting in hard work to bring this place back to life; they are still working on it but everything was clean and amenities have been upgraded from previous photos such as flat screen tv with plenty of satellite channels and a ceiling fan with a remote (which I had to take a picture of because I loved it and want to find one for myself)....

« We loved the peaceful sound of the creek. Such a relaxing spot. Close to town but without traffic. We even got to watch a fawn running around and playing in the creek. We look forward to returning soon. »

« We loved the cottage and really appreciated how dog friendly the hosts are. We had a quick post Thanksgiving getaway and loved spending time with our son at App State. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone traveling with their 4 legged family members. »

« This house was an excellent basecamp for a group of friends looking to explore the Linville Gorge area over a few days. The house is very cute & located in a beautiful neighborhood just a couple miles from many of the trails in Linville Gorge. Everything was clean & well ordered and the check-in/check-out process was straightforward. Highly recommend! »
