« We stayed here several nights. It was easy to get to. The cabin was fully furnished. Right on the river. Centrally located to what we were visiting in the area. Host was quick to respond. It is a rustic area and the cabin felt rustic as well. We couldn’t beat the view! Would return, for sure! »

« Very nice, quiet little getaway. We had a mama deer with her fawn in the back yard. Wish there was more of a trail to the water but it was very nice nonetheless. Would go again :) »

« We loved our stay at this property. Loved that it was right on the water and you could walk on the beach. The view from every room in the house was amazing. It was clear that the owner puts effort into making this a comfortable experience for those who are staying. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and it was well stocked with everything we needed. We had 5 adults staying and it was super comfortable and such a peaceful and quiet area. I hope to come and stay again sometime! »

« Traveling with 3 adults, 3 kids 1-13 and 2 dogs and we all fit. Cottage was very clean, air conditioner worked wonderfully and communication with the host was prompt. The kids loved the fishing, kayaks and paddle boats. The neighbors were great and very friendly. I highly recommend Van Cleve park and Gladstone beach if your traveling with kids. Even the neighborhood dog “Gus” was welcoming »

« We had a fantastic stay. House was very clean. Had everything you need I think only one car went by in 4 days when we were there. No one next door so it was so peaceful. We used the Kayaks. The lake is little but so quiet. No speed boats. We will be back some day!!!! Thank You!!!! »

« We set up this short family vacation to celebrate my dad's 87th birthday in Gladstone, where he was born and raised. He and all of us were pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and cozy, and the location across the street from the lake and park was ideal. Vrbo failed to send us the promised door code for check-in, but we were able to get in with the back-up key, and the owner sent us the keypad code when we asked for it.
