« We spent a long weekend here in early May. The house is on a beautiful lot tucked back in a cove. We found the property to be very peaceful and quiet. The owners of the property have fully stocked the house and boat house with everything and more you would need to have a fun filled stay. There are endless games and float toys to keep kids and adults of all ages occupied. We found the layout of the house and bedrooms to perfectly suit our two families. « Loved this place so much. I only wish it was more affordable- the fees are really high! But you could definitely fit a ton of people in this place. There are two big bedrooms that could easily have littles plus parents. The game room was legit and one of the few places with an air hockey table! They had a lot of equipment for the lake which the kids really enjoyed. »

« The back porch is amazing. We gathered there for breakfast and dinner each night. We saw deer, turkey and all kinds of birds. You can watch the fish too. This beautiful home comes equipped with kayaks; the adults and teens took turns and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our fishing wasn’t as successful as we would have liked but we weren’t at work!! « This is a great property. The house is exactly as described. The house is small but well layed out and not cramped. Easy access into the house with a very short ramp onto the deck. A couple of kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle board were available in the garage. Fairly secluded with one neighbor who we hardly saw. Would definitely stay here again. « Our family was so impressed with this gem! It was well equipped, clean and comfortable. My favorite part was sitting on the hammock each evening watching the sunset over the spectacular view of Shenandoah. Our teens enjoyed hanging out in the upstairs living area and balcony. We hope to come back some day! »

« Amazing property and amazing hosts! The perfect home away from home for our daughter’s wedding at Grelen. We were able to use their basement for our flower prep and even bring the couple dog that was the ring bearer. 10/10 recommend! »

« I was really impressed with how responsive the hosts were with our questions (they responded immediately). We were there during a storm and the power got knocked out, but the generator immediately turned on to cover all of the power (including the wifi). The stay is very scenic and secluded. It is very close to the Luray Entrance of Skyline Drive on Shenandoah where you can access many hikes. If you are planning on doing Old Rag, you will need to loop around the mountain which was not a problem...

« Nice little piece of property on the lake. Nice attention to details from the coffees and creamers to the personal products in the bathrooms. There is a special tenant form required for this VRBO which we didn’t see any communication about until 48 hours prior to check in which was when it was due. That would have been a nice alert to have early on since it was a physical copy that had to be printed, signed and scanned back. »
