« Peterson Mill is a unique and special property. My husband and I and our toy poodle felt right at home. The location in Saugatuck is perfect. The property is near downtown and walkable without feeling crowded and is immediately adjacent to boat docks and a nice restaurant. « We booked this rental last minute for our daughters’ birthday weekend with friends, and it turned out to be perfect. « We stayed at this unique property for a family vacation, and our experience was amazing! We especially loved the two separate indoor hangout spaces, which were stocked with lots of games, a pool table, and air hockey. « This little hidden gem was perfect for my husband and I. Keep in mind it is an old school, semi-rustic cabin with the necessities to make the stay more than comfortable. (We are all about the older, historic feel of places) But the surrounding outdoors…INCREDIBLE!!! « If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, this is it. The porch is 15 steps away from the waters edge and the view is lovely. The lake was not crowded by boats, mostly quiet pontoons. This cabin is situated at the end of a short road, so there is zero traffic to hear. The cabin has plenty of seating for hanging out or reading. « This is a beautiful, peaceful location. A quick drive into town if you want to eat out, but a great escape if you're seeking tranquility. The view of the wetlands and the wildlife were our favorite things about it. The beds are great, and with all the windows open in the 2nd bedroom, it's almost like sleeping outdoors.
