« To move the review to a 5 there are three opportunities: 1. Breakfast is served between 9:00 - 9:30 am without exception. 2. We were notified the morning of our arrival that there is only street/public parking. An unwelcomed surprise. Very inconvenient for a resort community. 3. There was no room freshening. We had to request fresh towels and the waste baskets were full after our two night stay. »

« The owners were very helpful in suggesting possible places we might like to eat. They were very supportive as we struggled without our car for a day and a half. Between the interurban transit and the Honda dealer’s shuttle, we managed to still enjoy the area! »

« Super spot for those who want a quiet spot to spend the night. Easy drive to town, restaurants, and shopping, but far enough away to assure a restful place. Nicely appointed rooms and hotel. Very friendly staff combined with the above to earn this hotel a solid rating. »

« The elevator is broke and has been since last October. Had to drag my cooler from the beach amoung other thimgs, up 2 flights of stairs. The TV had two remotes and initially was a challenge to operate. The person who checked us in didn't mention the broken elevator and didn't give any times for the breakfast. Just handed me the key card, stated the room number...and that was it. »

« There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. »

« WiFi unavailable. Soap missing from bathroom. Food mediocre. Tub needs rubber mat due to slippery surface. This contributed to my fall in the tub. Very expensive for a 2 star stay! »
