« Had family visiting from Texas who had never fly fished. The location of Riverlands Retreat is perfect for anglers. Catch and release only at the cabin where we caught multiple trout everyday using artificial nymphs or streamers. If you want to keep trout that you catch, the cabin is just 15 minutes from multiple sites (Rock Creek, Deep Hole, Cooper Creek, Sandy Bottom) stocked by the Dept of Natural Resources. This is our third year vacationing on Nantahala Lake and have tried to stay in different places—this is one of our favorites!From playing in the jacuzzi to tubing on the lake, playing pool to foosball, and relaxing on the multi-level balconies and theater room—it was all so much fun. We dubbed this place the Stairway to Heaven because we counted approximately 222 stairs from the top room to the boat dock—great workout and great fun! »

« If you like fishing, rafting, hiking and site seeing without all the large crowds, this is place for you. »

« Awesome spot in the Blue Ridge, GA area. We had a group of 11 guys stay here for a reunion so this worked for us. The property is gigantic with lots of space to hang and roam. One issue we had was one side of the house was not cooling down as well as the rest of the house. The manager was responsive and had an A/C repair man come check it out the next day. « This home is fantastic! The photos and description is spot on. Easy to get to but also off the beaten path. We had a large group to celebrate a 50th birthday. At one point 10 adults and 4 teenagers. We never felt crowded. Everyone had their own space. The basement was perfect for the teenagers. « Such a cute place, comfy beds, many amenities & within minutes of many rafting companies and fun things to do. They have a supply of some food you can cook right there on outside griddles or s’mores by the fire (We stayed too busy/tired to cook there for the couple days we stayed but a nice feature).
