« What a great spot. We felt the vibes right away as we pulled up and were greeted by Alex who was at the front desk. We loved the communal atmosphere and had some great conversations with other folks staying there on the common room. The bed was comfy and the room was awesome. We loved that it was a little off the main drag, but close enough to walk. I’m definitely going to recommend to others. Thanks y’all! »

« While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. It is quite a unique and peaceful accommodation in Robbinsville, NC, 30 min from the city accessible through a beautiful winding road while being very close to scenic roads and scenery like the Dragon’s tail road. « Really lovely place. Our kids (14 & 11) absolutely loved the animals. The alpacas, donkeys, goats and chickens were awesome. Kids got to do feedings of the goats and chickens with Collin and had such fun. Collin and Jenn are great communicators. We stayed in the Bobcat cabin and it was fantastic. Very comfortable and so we’ll done up. We even were given fresh eggs that the kids collected at the morning feeding. I can highly recommend Cobb Cabins. »

« The hosts were great. Their rental was extremely clean and comfortable. The pictures did not do the home justice! The decor was beautiful and the appliances were updated. « Our week in Highlands was so enjoyable and Foxglove Flat, although rustic on the outside, is a beautiful space to call home. It was absolutely spotless, comfortable and easy access for my husband with his mobility issues. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook. Multiple coffee making options was nice. « So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future. »
