« Lovely cottage 2 minutes walk from the seafront and the Neptune pub. A coiple of minutes to high street. Only thing I would say is that the staircase is very steep and narrow and may not suit some people. »

« The Old Schoolroom is restored with much care and taste resulting in a very comfortable cottage. There are lots of public footpaths to explore when stepping out the door and beaches and Canterbury are within a short drive through the very beautiful landscape. The hosts are very friendly and everybody seems to be raving about the welcome tray and fresh cut flowers... and they are right to :-) »

« Lovely stay. Host was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. I loved the area and how easy it was to walk to different places. This is a lovely home to have a visit of Whitstable and use as a home base to visit family and friends in the area. »

« My husband and two adult daughters stayed for a long weekend and had a fabulous time making an elaborate dinner, family movie night, and time in the hot tub. We took a hundred pics of the design elements. We had plenty of hot water in the shower, did our laundry, and slept like a dream. Thank you for relaxing and fun experience! »

« Lovely modern cottage tucked away in a quiet residential road. All mod cons and facilities plus the benefit of a small garden. A great base for exploring Whitstable. Only downside was with the main shower head, which leaked when on full power so had to use hand shower attachment instead. As it was Easter weekend, it also took a while to find a parking space nearby. »

« Good spot cute cottage. Couple of issues that were already mentioned in the guest book. Upstairs shower was either unexpectedly freezing midway through your shower or you couldn’t get a lower temp than scalding hot. The shower head needed replacing as did the rusty shampoo basket. The lounge light just switched itself off which was a bit disconcerting in case it was due to a faulty wire. Everything else that was/could be required was there. »

« My wife and I had a wonderful time at Pheasant Lodge in glorious sunshine. The house is very well furnished and has everything you need as a guest. It is very quietly situated in the hinterland, but you can quickly drive to the most beautiful places and castles in Kent and to the wonderful hiking trails in the Kent Downs and at Saxon Shoreway by the sea. There are lovely pubs and typical restaurants everywhere nearby and we found the people very, very friendly without exception. We will...
