« This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. This place really feels like home. 🥰 »

« We stayed at this property for the 2025 Washington and Lee graduation. It was the perfect choice because it provided a place to relax with grandparents and our family. The property and house was magnificent with great views of the mountains. The house was spacious and just made you feel at home. The hosts were responsive but not intrusive. Our only regret is that we did not find this property sooner in our 4 years worth of travel back and forth to Lexington. »

« Cute place. We really liked it. Only “issue” we had was that the pest control guy stopped in unannounced to grab a trap of some sort while we were playing cards. Knock at the door made us nervous because place is kind of secluded. It was fine just unexpected and wasn’t sure if we were supposed to let the guy in or not. »

« My husband and I wanted a weekend away from the world to get peace and quiet. This was most definitely the place. Absolutely adorable place and away from it all! Very comfortable setting and loved watching the baby deer and its parents walk past the cabin. »
