« We stayed with the hopes of seeing the Milky Way in the Dark Sky area. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans with unusual storms in the area. Our stay in the container was great! We had everything we needed to be able to cook dinner then breakfast before heading to Big Bend NP. The owners sent a good amount of information before our trip with helped tremendously! »

« Very relaxing getaway – well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Most enjoyed sitting and rocking in the rocking chairs on the large covered carport/patio watching squirrels scamper around in the trees and the very large yard area and listening to the birds in the mornings with our coffee and then in the evenings after returning from the day's adventures. Will definitely be the first place we try for a reservation on future trips to Alpine! »

« A place like this the view and location are what makes or break one. The location is right in the ghost town! Food and entertainment are right there! The view is unbelievable! I have never seen better. The room was great. Everything we needed! Outdoor kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of places to sit to taking in all of the beauty. « Three couples, long time friends, wanted to meet near Ft. Davis to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We loved that each bedroom had private baths and king size beds. The view from the back deck was delightful, as we could see Mitre Peak in the distance. As the three women had attended Mitre Peak Girl Scout Camp in our youth, it was rather magic to see Mitre from afar.
