« We were group of 6 families with 25 members and had an absolutely amazing time. Initially our friends were hesitating as it’s totally in woods and were not sure what to expect. But everyone had a blast. House was clean and had so many beds that everyone got to sleep in their own bed with clean blankets. Kitchen is well equipped. Backyard view is gorgeous with place to do campfire and grill. We spent so much time there. And a big backyard where we had family games. House had so many little trails...

« The cabin was great. The one piece of advice I will offer is DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS TO THE ADDRESS ON THE LISTING!!! Follow the written directions the host provides. Our GPS took us a way that was impassable and locked with a gate. The roads around the property are gravel/dirt with plenty of tire-popping potholes. Be very careful. The cabin was great except for the beds. We ended up leaving one night early because we couldn't get a full night's sleep on either the bed upstairs nor the pull-out...

« We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again if we are going to...

« We stay in the area regularly to visit family and we would definitely stay in this house again. The location was convenient for our needs. There were plenty of things to do at the house to keep everyone happy, even in January! One thing to note since I didn’t notice when booking, there aren’t tv’s in the bedrooms. The projector and couch in the basement was the preferred hangout space for our teens. »
