« A beautiful hotel . Lovely staff nothing too much trouble very clean lovely bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities.. they even put a tv out In the courtyard so guests could watch the FA cop final !! Will definitely be back ! »

« We stayed in room 25. The view over the estuary is up there with the best I've ever stayed in and worth booking for this alone. The arrangement where you get your key from the Pennington and have breakfast there but can dine in either seems confusing at first. But who cares if you get that view which is ever changing and no photo can capture it. »

« The only criticism i have is too late for booking in and on a personal note i think 08:30 is a little late for breakfast. Beside that i found the place fantastic. Great accommodation and friendly staff and ideally situated for exploring the lake district. »
