« Property was clean and well maintained. Directions for check-in and out were very clear and received in a timely manner. Area was nicely located for access to many outdoor activities and restaurants. Only complaint was that some of the items that were supposed to be stocked, like coffee and tissues, were not. There was a grocery store close by where we were able to pick up these items. Thanks for a great stay. »

« The cabin was great. The one piece of advice I will offer is DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS TO THE ADDRESS ON THE LISTING!!! Follow the written directions the host provides. Our GPS took us a way that was impassable and locked with a gate. The roads around the property are gravel/dirt with plenty of tire-popping potholes. Be very careful. The cabin was great except for the beds. We ended up leaving one night early because we couldn't get a full night's sleep on either the bed upstairs nor the pull-out...

« Property was equipped with everything needed. Very quiet with a beautiful view of the river. Tiffany was the best host. Immediate replies to questions and even recommended florist to deliver flowers for my wife. Will definitely return. »

« If you’re looking for peace & quiet, with the gorgeous Tygart River within 30 yards… this is the place for you! Host addresses minor issues quickly & efficiently & is super friendly! Grandchildren enjoyed the bunk beds & riding their scooters on road & bridge (very little traffic) … no cell phone signal but was nice to unplug & we could text with Starlink wi-fi! We truly had a marvelous time in spite of lots of rain. »

« We had a great time at the house. There was plenty of hiking nearby. The house was very clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable and the view was great! Our only disappointment was that we didn't realize there was no cell phone coverage. The wifi worked well! »

« Unplugging from regular life for a week was great, nephew (age 7) went through withdrawl from the internet though. So many places to go hiking we were busy all the time. Going to town for groceries wasn't bad! The river was a bit cool for swimming, but was a grand adventure regardless. Definitely recommend! »

« We arrived at night to the cabin, trust the google map directions as clicked from the website. The key was in the lockbox as instructed and we were able to settle in nicely. When we woke up we were surprised to find an enormous green pasture behind the cabin with the river just behind the pasture. It was so beautiful! « Very clean property and everything we needed was there. Very easy check in and out process. Convenient location to Blackwater Falls and cute shops, galleries, and eateries within a couple minutes. Grocery store and convenience store are close as well. We stayed with our two boys, two dogs, and in-laws. The space was cozy, but plenty of seating and space to separate when we needed it. I would recommend this location and would happily stay again. »

« House was clean and comfortable. E-biking the Blackwater Canyon Trail to Hendricks and back was wonderful, the trail is feet from the house. Nearby Douglas Falls is great. Blackwater Falls State Park is just a few miles away. So many other outdoor activities nearby.
