« Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour au chalet Chisholms of Troy ! Nous disposions du chalet le plus éloigné de la route, très tranquille avec une vue fantastique sur l'eau et la côte en face. Le chalet était très propre et bien équipé, que ce soit la salle de bain ou la cuisine (ce qui tombe bien car il n'y a pas grande option de restauration dans le coin). Joliment refait, avec fauteuils et table à picnic devant le chalet. La propriété dispose de plus d'un accès direct à la piste cyclable...

« Nous avons passé deux semaines à profiter du site au pie de la mer: marches sur la plage, contemplation et jeux sur le terrain. La plage de Melmerby, à 10 minutes d’auto est magnifique. New Glasgow, tout près, offre tous les services nécessaires. Le chalet est grand, confirtable et bien équipé. On s’y sent chez soi! La décoration présente de multiples objets dont on imagine l’histoire. Malgré la proximité des voisines, le respect et le clame règnent dans le voisinage. Nous espérons y séjourner à...

« Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. « Spent 4 days. Beautiful location on a beach, very quiet, kayaking every day. Nesting eagles a ross the way. Host were exceptionally hospitable- went with us fown the street to get fresh lobsters off the boat »

« Micheal and his brother were awesome hosto from start to finish. We enjoyed our afternoon drink on our terrasse overlooiking the pond/ocean and the wildlife. Waking up in the morning with a deer and its club at your doorstep! « The setting is lovely, and the distillery next door is a highlight — great drinks and welcoming staff. The cabin shows signs of some recent updates, but overall it feels a bit tired and neglected. While the layout is fine, the beds were too soft for our liking, and the towels were thin and well past their prime. « Very good location. Nice lodging. Clean but we had an ants problem which lead us to leave after three days of a ten days stays. Hope this issue will be fixed by the owner as the place is very nice. »

« This may not be everyone’s idea of Heaven on Earth, but it is mine! So quiet and remote with direct ocean front access. The view when you pull up is incredible. The cottage was exactly as described. It had everything we needed, and some things we had forgotten. Small on stature, but cozy and comfy and quiet.
