« Blue Jay cottage is a quaint, lovely cottage. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had a question and the cottage had everything we needed. The setting was perfect, right on the water with access for our kayak and paddleboard. Easy access to Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Bridgewater. They had lots of little extras, in case we forgot anything, like chargers, condiments and all of the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! »

The property is amazing - make sure you take the walk down to the river for a truly magical moss-covered forest floor experience! My two young children (7 and 2) really enjoyed their stay as well. « The view was gorgeous and enjoyed the house!! We only went downstairs to wash clothes but it smelled a little musty so glad we were sleeping upstairs. Also we read and reread directions for the hot tub but we could not get the top off and didn’t want to damage it. Can’t beat the view!!! »
