« Two oldies' with our 5yrs old grandson. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently situated for shops and beach - though a steep walk coming back up! Considering it is so near shops, restaurants etc it was very quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very understanding when I told her we couldn't leave the cottage as we had found it as I had broken my wrist the previous day. Beware of seaweed-covered rocks at Robin Hood's Bay!! Would stay again. »

« The Judge's House is a big, family house within easy walking distance of central Whitby and the sea front. It's very well equipped and the owners communicated before, during and after our stay. »

« It was filthy. So disappointed not worth the money we paid at all . We save and work for our weekends away and this was not expectable .damaged bed carpets unsafe on stairs. »

« Great communication and welcome instructions - clear, helpful and constructive. The house is wonderful, clean, warm and full of character (watch your head in some rooms). It is effectively located in the centre which means you don't need a car. 7 of us stayed and the house provided private space for us all. Main bedrooms all ensuite with bedding to match expectation. « The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. The treats were a nice touch and so grateful for the peace and quiet as well as the free parking. Lots of nearby walks,...
