« Cozy Cabin sums it up. Easy check in. Small; but, neat and clean. A handful of nice spices for the barbecue if needed. Swimming in the river is a little tricky since there is a "wall" directly in front of the property. About 100 yards down, is the boat ramp where you can enter easier. I didn't use the pool; but, checked it out. It looked nice, with a couple of cabanas that would give you your own space. Has a communal washer / dryer attached to the back side of it. Not sure how many properties...

« Spent the weekend here with the family and had a great time! The cottage is clean, cozy, and right on Lake Dunlap. It’s peaceful but still close to New Braunfels and Gruene.We grilled burgers by the water, went swimming, and did some fishing right off the property. The kitchen’s well-stocked, the beds are comfy, and the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing.Great spot for a low-key family getaway—would definitely come back! »

« We loved staying at River Staycation!!! It was so nice and peaceful there! There was even a very friendly duck named Oreo, that would visit us everyday down by the water! He loves watermelon! The Host was great! She text making sure we had everything we needed. You don't need to bring anything but your food! The house was so clean and cozy. The bed was comfy. My kids loved the upstairs loft. We will definitely be back! »

« This property was incredible. Paula and Ollie were such genuine hosts. The property was sich a hidden gem. So quiet and beautiful while still close to the things we needed. The beds were so comfortable and the spaces were clean. We loved having access to the pool, pickleball, volleyball, and nature reserve. It was an accurate description of the property, but still so much better than we expected. We will be back! »

« Love this place! The kids enjoyed Kayaking, fishing, pool time and games, all within walking distance. The area was well kept and clean. The beds were comfy and the cabin was clean. My only complaint was amenities indicated there was a stove top and oven so we thought it was a full range but it was not. It was a portable two sided burner and the microwave was also an oven but don’t recommend baking in it. »

« Property is on the river and has many modern amenities. 3-4 great gathering areas in great room, kitchen, and outside. Hot tub is in like new condition and well maintained. While the house is older, the remodel and updating have been very well done so it feels and looks like the description. Water is low because of the dam work up river, but will be even more enjoyable once that work is complete and the river is flowing normal. Definitely recommend and we would definitely consider returning for...
