Dear Alfonso,Thank you for leaving a review and thank you for acknowledging our friendly staff. However, we do have air-conditioned rooms and fan-cooled rooms available on our property, so if it would be too hot in a fan-cooled room, an air-conditioned room might have been the better option for you. As for the mosquito fogging, it is imperative that guests are removed while fogging is being undertaken as it is poisonous, so the staff are only doing their job and looking out for your safety, when asking guests to leave. I apologise about the noise, please know that this is completely out of our control and something that we have tried to have stopped but to no avail. The Ayu Cottage that you stayed in, however, is nowhere near this music, the Ayu Cottage is at the main property not near the road, so I am very confused about your comment, especially describing the music as 'next door', as it just isn't. Anyone staying in our villa near the road and therefore the music is notified about this before check in, we let everyone know and give them the chance to cancel if they wish. Please note that the vast majority of guests love the music and often go and join in. I understand that this is not for everyone, but I feel it is important to give our side of these kind of complaints too so that others know we try our absolute best to ensure all guests have a calm, peaceful and relaxing at Sama's Cottages and Villas.Thankyou so much for complimenting our amazing front of house staff Mega, we agree she is exceptional!We wish you all the best Christine.

We are indeed located not far from the middle of busy Ubud but even so, as you said, our cottages are secluded and peaceful. Our 3 bedroom villa is closer to the road so does get some noise in the evenings, which we let every guest who books with us know about way before checking in. Like you, most do not have a problem!!
