« This stay is a fantastic retreat for those seeking time on the water, exploring local vineyards, or just a peaceful stay free of the hustle of everyday life. We booked this stay for our wedding weekend and it did not disappoint! Beautiful property that sits high up on the hill. Lots of space for family to kick back, with a full kitchen, remodeled bathrooms, and an amazing wrap around porch to sip tea or coffee out on in the early morning.Highly recommend to any and all! »

« The spacious yard was awesome, very quiet and had an amazing view of the night sky. We had a fire in the fire ring. The bbq grill was nice. We grilled some steaks for dinner. Groceries within 10 minutes. Not many dining options right in the area. Our stay was the last night of a ten day trip and it was a perfect ending. »

« We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite. »

« This is a great cabin to rent. Very clean on the inside. Next to a pond, where you can hear frogs and birds. It’s located within 10-15 mins of civilization, if you need supplies or want to see sights. I’d highly recommend. »

« This property was exactly as advertised and exactly what I was looking for. Very quiet, very peaceful, and it had all the amenities I needed. Liza was very responsive to my questions, and the loft bed was extremely comfortable! Enjoyed my stay and would definitely book this property again. »

« The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The perfect getaway for my wife and I and our pups. Would definitely go again! »

« The cabin was a beautiful getaway for my family. It is a short distance to several state parks with waterfalls. If you need a place to stay where it’s peaceful and quiet, this is the place for you. »

« Such a beautiful cabin in the woods! We loved visiting the State Park and Seneca Lake Wineries and having a close and private home to go to. Loved having a washer/dryer to take our clothes home clean. We didn't cook there but the cabin is equipped with updated appliances for any of your needs. Our only suggestion would be to add a couple wine glasses for all the yummy wine produced in this region. »

« Just got home from an amazing weekend at a beautiful cabin, with two of the best people I know. We could not say enough about the cabin. It was very welcoming, clean and cozy. A relaxing sit on the porch, very quiet….. except for the falling acorns. As far as my dealings with the hosts it could not have been better, TOP NOTCH! »

« I would highly recommend this place. The cabin was well stocked and cozy. The entire property was so peaceful and screen. My husband, dog, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the deck at night. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. We will stay here again in the future. »

« The grounds were surrounded by native beautiful flowers and a flock of sheep resided there as well with 2 beautiful dedicated watchdogs. Peaceful and tranquil location made it feel like a real getaway with only a short drive away to the Watkins glen sites. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. »

« Extremely quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by farmland and close to Seneca lake. One of the beds is a foam mattress to put on the floor. You’ll have to cover the motion detector light if you want to sleep. »

« This was a wonderful experience! »

« Loved the cabin and property, the grandkids had so much fun exploring outside! We did not use the hot tub or even spend much time at the cabin as our daughter got married at Crispin Hill and we were super busy running the whole weekend. Would definitely stay again! »

"Room and bath were very large and clean. Bed was comfortable ; pillows were not. Breakfast buffet was average. Location was excellent. Close to all yet quiet."

"As soon as we arrived, the clerk told us how to get to our room, but it wasn't clear. The manager took care of us to show us our room. His purpose was to sell us the dinning facility, and he was a little too pushy for me! The driveway to the check in had a big hole which was easy to fix temporarily with a bag of gravel rock! The front door of our room was filled with sticky leaves from last fall. The environment around the Hotel is splendid. "
