Daison Cottage is located in the vibrant seaside town of Torquay, known for being one of the prettiest towns of Devon's English Riviera. Here, you'll find the iconic Marina, as well as beautiful beaches, brilliant pubs and many seafood restaurants. There are ample opportunities to swim in the crystal waters and secret coves, to enjoy a spot of fishing and discover the stunning wildlife that call this place home. The best beaches are found on the eastern coast of the Torquay area in Lyme Bay. Award-winning beaches lining the coast include two dog-friendly beaches - Anstey's Cove and Babbacombe Beach, as well as the pretty Meadfoot Beach. Walkers will love heading off to Dartmoor National Park, where you'll find wild ponies, stunning hikes, magical waterfalls and pretty forests.
Whilst you are in a great location to see Torquay town, we would suggest bringing a car to make the most of exploring this beautiful part of Devon. From here, you can connect on to Bristol Temple Meads, Reading and London Paddington.
