Summary:
Daison Cottage is a stunning, historic property that has been renovated to a high standard throughout. The cottage is conveniently located on the main road that leads right down to the sea front. It is also in the prime position to enjoy many of the local attractions, and there's ample roadside parking close to the property.
The Space:
Inside, you can enjoy the luxuriousness of a high-end hotel, whilst having the comfort of your own kitchen and living spaces. The open-plan kitchen and living room area lets in beautiful sunlight with its large windows and has a warm, cosy feel with exposed wooden flooring. Cook up delicious feasts in the kitchen, which has been finished to an immaculate standard and has all the mod-cons you'll ever need. Then retreat to the sofa for a relaxing evening in - you won't struggle to find a film or series on the Smart TV (complementary Netflix subscription included). There are two comfortable bedrooms, one double and one twin with gorgeous, high-quality linen and plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. Whilst outside, the patio and gravelled area gets plenty of sunlight all day and evening - perfect if you want to sit back with a book or enjoy dinner until sunset. Free on street parking in surrounding roads.

The Neighborhood:
Daison Cottage is located in the vibrant seaside town of Torquay, known for being one of the prettiest towns of Devon's English Riviera. Here, you'll find the iconic Marina, as well as beautiful beaches, brilliant pubs and many seafood restaurants. There are ample opportunities to swim in the crystal waters and secret coves, to enjoy a spot of fishing and discover the stunning wildlife that call this place home. The best beaches are found on the eastern coast of the Torquay area in Lyme Bay. Award-winning beaches lining the coast include two dog-friendly beaches - Anstey's Cove and Babbacombe Beach, as well as the pretty Meadfoot Beach. Walkers will love heading off to Dartmoor National Park, where you'll find wild ponies, stunning hikes, magical waterfalls and pretty forests.
Getting Around:
Whilst you are in a great location to see Torquay town, we would suggest bringing a car to make the most of exploring this beautiful part of Devon. If you are visiting on public transport, the nearby Torquay station with has regular trains that run to Exeter St Davids and Paignton. From here, you can connect on to Bristol Temple Meads, Reading and London Paddington.
Other Things to Note:
Please let us know if you require any of the family amenities, such as a travel cot, high chair or stair gates, so we can set them up prior to your stay.
The property is opposite a former dairy building that is being redeveloped and landscaped in to an outdoor space with fountain.
You should also note there is no washing machine at the cottage. However, we have an account with a local laundrette where you can take any washing free of charge.
Access to cottage B is through the front door and up a set of stairs. Here you will find the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and master bedroom. A second set of stairs leads up to the twin room.
