« Very warm welcome and impeccable service. On the other hand, the soundproofing is very poor and we could hear everything that was going on in the street (lots of passing cars and motorcyclists taking advantage of the straight line to accelerate). Apart from that, our room would have deserved to be renovated. »

« What an incredible place to stay! This is the perfect home base for all your eastern Kyoto adventures. Being just a quick two minute walk to the KH train line makes accessing Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizudera, and Gion super convenient, while at the same time avoiding all the crowds that come with staying at those locations. The property owner was also incredibly helpful! The property itself is amazing. Unlike anywhere I've ever stayed before. The master bedroom has its own rock features! The...

« The worst place to have one night stay. This is not a Ryokan in fact. Trust me. You shiukd have enough time to make decision! »

« Ayala was amazing and gave us the best check in experience! the hospitality was so amazing we will definitely be back! »

« Magnifique endroit traditionnel.

« Breakfast ladies were great. If your darker than beige, you may have a different experience than others. They charged me twice the lodging rate, made it difficult to call a taxi, were suspicious and unwelcoming. The room itself had everything you wouls need. Is walkable to the train station about twenty minute walk, the location is near the dam so thats relaxing, theres a public bath that was obviously not for me but for more cherished guests, the grounds are good, the town is cute with lots of...
