« Staying at the beautiful Kyo-Anthu Inn made our stay in Kyoto exponentially better. The welcome we received and level of care and attention to providing for our needs was beyond our expectations. Emiko and her family answered our (many) questions about Japan, provided excellent references, made restaurant reservations for us, invited us to a tea ceremony, gave us a lift to the train station and so much more… Kyo-Anthu was so much more than a place to stay! Our Deluxe King Room was a beautiful blend of tradition and comfort, with tatami floors, a spacious onsen-style bath, and lovely skincare. The staff were absolutely wonderful: warm, friendly, and so helpful. We did not want to leave, will come back for sure! »

« A beautiful hotel in a quiet residential area. The owner and his colleagues are most wonderful people. The rooms are super clean and the beds are comfortable. You also get served a small breakfast which is great. I had a great time at this boutique hotel and I can highly recommend it. Arrigato and matane ! »
